index.php display

I'm using bluefox/ greenfox themes, and want to 'tidy up' the index page.

I want to hide-

Latest poster
Latest post time/ date

And the entire thread and post count columns.

Can I do this via the AdminCP, or do I need to edit templates?
 
go into edit template...forumhome templates>>>forumhome_forumbit_level1post

find:
Code: 
<td class="alt2">$forum[lastpostinfo]</td>
		<td class="alt1">$forum[threadcount]</td>
		<td class="alt2">$forum[replycount]</td>

delete it.
go into forumhome_;lastpostby and delete everything there.

then go into FORUMHOME

find:

	  <td class="thead">$vbphrase[threads]</td>
	  <td class="thead">$vbphrase[posts]</td>
and delete.

then go to forumhome_forumbit_level2post

find:

	  <td class="thead">$vbphrase[posts]</td>

and delete.
should all be gone.

It never done what I wanted entirely, but put me on the right route to the correct templates to edit :)
