I am using (include ("test.htm"); to call in data from one page to another ...<br />

What I would like to do only call in some much data from the test.htm, like 500 words or something ... is there any way to do that?<br />

You want to call up only so much of an external file? You can't do this with a server side include. Not without some advanced script at any rate. I use ASP includes where I can and will do the job fine as long as you want the full file pulled in.<!--content-->
