Hello
I am trying to SEO my site for the first time in years, about 6 years in fact.
First thing www. and non www. right, here is what it says. Quote: Be sure that http://runehints.com and http://www.runehints.com are not running in parallel.
Redirecting requests from a non-preferred hostname is important because search engines consider URLs with and without "www" as two different websites.
Once your preferred domain is set, use a 301 redirect for all traffic to your non-preferred domain. How do I fix?
in fact there are a lot to do, so I will post one at a time.
so far I have at least 15 areas to improve or to add.
They are simple things like adding language to cleaning up html but I am here to sort out things for SEO only - I plan to create other threads for the relevant content
.
I made a sitemap, although google won't accept it, as it has "html", I know it has no html. Is there away to force google to accept it? Also I have "robots.txt" but I don't... this is according to woorank.com, which also says my sitemap is there.
This is all in the In-Site SEO section so I know I am still on topic
/
How do I sort the Language out, I need to Declared/Detected the language, but not sure how...
Where is the best place to get W3C validity sorted out?
What is Dublin Core and Geo Meta Tags.
