I've got a website with about 2000 pages, all of which are in the Google index.When looking at the cached pages, some show the date of the cached pages to be in December 2004 or Jan 23, 2005 for others.When looking at my google logs, for a specific file that shows as updated in Jan 2005 in the Google cache I see that the google bot visits the page ever second day on average.So, why would it not update the page cache???Maybe because the page content hasnt changed so theres no reason to update the cache? Just a thought?Thanks for the tip Jessica, unfortunatly the page content has changed quite a bit...Think there was/is currently a problem with Google.
