Hi,
I have noticed that search engine display different-2 meta description length (No of Characters) for different website. It takes short meta description for some sites and take long meta description for some websites. What is the reason behind it?
You can see practically. Search in google.com keyword "SEO Training Noida" after search you will see for the website ducatindia.com, length of meta description is 236 characters i.e "DUCAT- The IT Training Institute in India, Delhi, Noida, NCR, Training in IT, Java, J2EE, J2ME, DOT NET, PHP, Adobe Flex, SAS, ... Java Training institute/centre in Delhi, Noida & NCR ... SEO. SQT +. Advanced QTP ?SQT. VLSI Technology+"
But for other website is very less length, why? please share your views.
Thanks I can't tell you why but Google will sometimes also create it's own title tag for your site, e.g. use the number of comments on a blog post in the title.
There's not much you can do about it. Meta tag is exceptional work in on page SEO, mostly search engine good prefer its and improve ranking and traffic.
