Images don't show in default theme after going into a category

For some reason my images don't show up if I go into any category/forum, users profile or members list
they work when doing everything else like making a new thread / going to user cp / index / search

And this happens on any theme including default
 
can you give a screen shot of what you mean or send a pm with link so I can see what you are talking about.
 
use ie7 and you'll see all red crosses, look with a right click were the picture should be and move the files on your ftp to that directory, now it should show pictures :)
 
Go to Style & Template & then Choose the Style which is default for your Forum...Then Choose All Style Options & Press GO

then Browse under the Image Path Option, Here Check the Path...& If it is wrong...Specify the path correctly
 
For some reason it's changing the paths of the images
example:
/forum/general-chat/images/misc/vbulletin3_logo_white.gif
/forum/introductions/images/misc/vbulletin3_logo_white.gif

Any idea how to fix this? It's doing that on all themes
