Hi
Got so many questions about seo heres another one hope you dont mind
Should my image name be named as my keyword phrase should the alt image name be the same as the image name also.
Thank you Its better that you choose the ALT tags for your images as the keyword you want to optimize your web page for. For example if you are going to optimize a web page for keyword "example", Its better that the ALT tag of the image on this page to be "example" too. If you want to help your visitors then your alt attribute should contain text that helps someone understand why the image is there. e.g. what it represents.
Google and other search engines cannot see images so they tend to use the alt attribute text and file name to help them understand a page that uses images to convey information.
Good image file names and alt attributes can help search engines in understanding what your page is about. Good image file names and alt attributes can help search engines in understanding what your page is about. Right that clears that one up then never knew google couldn't see images so theres absolutely no point in naming your images as the keyword, file name ect
Thanks The text in image file names and alt attributes do contribute to search engine indexing so
