I would love some advice about my moron domain name.
My website is: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.inb0x.com">http://www.inb0x.com</a><!-- m -->. That's inb0x with a ZERO, not an "o".
I bought the site for the business, obviously, not the name.
It is a truly lame name.
If I really want the someone to type in the right URL I've got to mention the zero or the site won't be found. I'm sure I miss a lot of traffic to inbox.com (the one without the zero).
Here are some things I've thought of to help visitors remember the 0.
1. Adding a slogan like: "We put 0's at the end of your traffic count." (I think that just might be the lamest slogan in all of the world)
or
2. "We zero in on quality content"
or
3. I've also thought about using some kind of graphic in the logo, like the 0's and 1's that a computer sees as a background with the logo coming out of it...something like that.
or
4. Maybe just putting a diagonal line through the zero in the logo.
or
5. just live with it, there's nothing I can do.
What are your votes? Any other suggestions?
