About a year ago, I must have did something wrong while "expanding" my first (and only) website http://www.starrproductions.com and I was banned from Googleland...(I don't know what I did wrong, so don't even ask) Now after my year of exile, the king has allowed me re-enter the magical search kingdom. Now I see that 14 out of my 30 something pages is indexed in Google, but I can only find my domain name in Google's search only when I use my company name (Starr Productions) somewhere in the search. The keywords I want such as "Maryland DJs" (#1 in MSN) or "Virginia DJs" for starters is non-existent, maybe I'm buried in Google's black hole or something??? Also Google isn't showing any backlinks at all for my site, but yet I'm still somewhat indexed? So should my site be back to normal within Google's search after a couple of updates, or am I still doing something wrong which is preventing this??? [/b]1) well, one thing i can point out is that your meta tags for keywords and description are mentioned two times. I am not sure but this might be one of the reasons. 2) did you try links exchange? 3) considering that you #1 in msn i can tell you that you did probably nothing wrong. What might look like a bad thing for google is a list of the counties at the bottom of index page. 4) I looked your source and see almost no content there, which makes your index page not very friendly for google. Finally, you are in google's index so wait for updates. Lost...Chances are you got caught up in a dupe filter or perhaps had links from a bad neighborhood your site doesn't look spammy and based on your msn and yahoo ranks should at least be listed in google's top 50 on a bad day!...try to get some links from well established related sites (one' s that google likes) and renew your domain name for more than one year...it might help. I have a site in a similar situation that was banned for buying links. It came back about 3 months ago and with each upate is staring to get it's backlinks and PR resotred...but it is still is buried in the ranks...I'm running out of patience! After look at the text only version of google's cache for your site: http://216.239.63.104/search?q=cache:ht ... en&strip=1It looks like you over doing it with either a bold tag or an Hx tag...try not to format so many words in the tag.
