Internet Explorer 5 running on MacOS 9.1 does not place scroll bars in the window for the page below when the content is heigher than the available screen:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cm-life.com/pages/newdesign/">http://www.cm-life.com/pages/newdesign/</a><!-- m -->
The scroll bars appear once you:
A. Resize the window
B. Toggle the Explorer Bar on and off
The URLs to the CSS files I use are below:
<link>
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cm-life.com/pages/newdesign/css/text/default.css">http://www.cm-life.com/pages/newdesign/ ... efault.css</a><!-- m -->
@import
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cm-life.com/pages/newdesign/css/layout/master.css">http://www.cm-life.com/pages/newdesign/ ... master.css</a><!-- m -->
@import
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cm-life.com/pages/newdesign/css/text/mainNav.css">http://www.cm-life.com/pages/newdesign/ ... ainNav.css</a><!-- m -->
@import
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cm-life.com/pages/newdesign/css/text/frontpage.css">http://www.cm-life.com/pages/newdesign/ ... ntpage.css</a><!-- m -->
IE 5/Mac doesn't seem to recognize the full height of the absolutely positioned DIV.
Has anyone heard of this being a bug or know of a workaround? I've done some searching here at the forum but found nothing about this subject, and even searched from <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.alistapart.com">www.alistapart.com</a><!-- w --> and still found nothing.This may be of interest to you:
