I'd appreciate if someone more savvy than myself could take a peek at my winter colour scheme and figure out what I can do make IE6 not mulch it:
http://uwmike.com/layout/blue
Originally, I used right-padding on the body to push all the content in, now I've switched it so that the internal elements just have right-margins. I really can't think what else would cause it to expand the body widthwise like that.
Thanks for any assistence!
Mike
btw, I'll add the tantek hack at the very end, but there's no need to rush into that.Looks ok in IE6.
IE5 screws-up the links at the bottom of the page and shows a block above "Welcome!", possibly the hidden menu?Originally posted by Fang

wtf?!
It magically works this morning... I wonder if there was a cache problem with my local copy or something. Weird.
Anyhow, thanks.
EDIT: Do you have a separate box with IE5 running, or is there a free version of browsercam running somewhere? Or did you get that devious multi-IE installer thing to work?
You can see how the 'hidden' menu looks on the current version of the site (http://uwmike.com), but I'm going to style it differently this time, so I just didn't bother with it for the moment. It was easy to get the multi versions to work. They come in prepackaged ZIP files. All you do is unzip and run:
Skyzyx.com - Download s: Installing Multiple Versions of Internet Explorer (http://www.skyzyx.com/Download s/?PHPSESSID=645a50be22aebcaa7526440c533377e8)
