I NEED SOME MORAL SUPPORT.

HA! I came here to vent. I started my site about 10 months ago and I have made some great strides. I have really tried my hardest to add content as often as possible. I cant complain too much.I get crawled often and I have forums that are SLOWLY getting bigger.My frustration is that I really want to get in the top 10 for the term FLORIDA FISHING or even FLORIDA HUNTING. When I look at the pages that are in the top 10 for these top keywords I get angry at some of the results they show. There is a site that is within the top 10 for florida fishing that hasnt had new content for the ENTIRE TIME I have had my site.(The main page is the exact same.) (10 months) I dont want to be a whiner but damn man. My forums and my site are really needing that spot. There are a couple more that dont make sense either. Like a guide service. They only offer guided trips but beat our my site that is nothing but florida fishing and hunting.I guess my real problem is I am not an SEO guy. I have retrieved backlinks with keyword anchor text and have optimized my title tags to the best of my ability. I guess it is a waiting game.Lastly, I submitted to dmoz and it has been 6 months. I know I know it takes a long time.
