I have some questions...

I am working on my site more and more, and I am coming up with more and more questions. :D

Is there anyway to add an outlook calendar to my site? Could I add events somehow to it? Can I upload my current Outlook calendar, and update it too?

Can I have a scrolling marquee that has the current date and time, possibly to the second?

Does anybody know any good, small flag animations that will work with backgrounds other than white?

Thanks guys!

EDIT: One more thing...does anybody know of a decent and free hit counter? My frontpage one doesn't seem to be working.www.extreme-dm.com is good site tracking. I do not reccomend using a marquee for anything. If you want an events calandar we are going to need to know what your server supports scripting wise. ASP PHP CGI JSP ASP.NET CF are your options.Scrolling marquee: http://www.matts-website.net/geek/wdmistakes.html particular attention to Effect number 2 (basicaly dont use scrolling marquees)

Flag Animation: Can you be more specific of what colour flag etc you want (or could you create your own)

Hit counter: http://freelogs.com/ from and 'im feeling lucky' google search (do you really want a hit counter?)I would like a USA flag, no more than 100 pixels in any dimension.

I am not sure what my server supports scripting wise. I am currently using Cox's free 10MB.

How do I insert the current date and time on my site then?ah, the power of google...
How do I insert the current date and time on my site then? Well you can put date and time on your site with java script but it is going to be whatever time zone and comp time the user has on their machine. If you want it uniform you are going to want server time which will require server side scripting. You need to find out what they support, look in their faq, and if its not their contact them. Can you provide a link to the information about your hosting plan so I can take a look?Linko. (http://usercenter.cox.net/rsuite/sdcuser/default.jsp)http://usercenter.cox.net/rsuite/sdcuser/asp/unsupbrowser/personal_pages/index.html
Low bandwidth :/ you might want to find an dedicated host because your isp is not going to cut it if you get any kind of traffic :( . I looked all over and did not see a thing about it so Its a safe bet they do not support any server side scripting. I tried to do live chat support with them, but I cant because I do not have a login. Do the live chat support and ask one of their reps.Wow PeOfEo, thanks for trying so hard to get this to work out! I really appreciate that. I will try to talk to them, and find out some more information.I did not try that hard :) but thanks.Originally posted by TennBikeBerk
