Hey,I have 280 web sites that link to me. Google only shows 19, but when I click "Find web pages that contain the term "www.gardendivine.net/"" it shows 160. Google has found all these web sites that link to me but will not give me credit for them. It only gives me credit for 19 of those back links. Why? My site has been indexed for 2 months now. Is it because my web site is still new? I do not know if I am in the sandbox.. I do not have a rank yet.. but I think I just barely mist the last (PR) update..Thank you in advance,JacobGoogle updates its backlink count periodically and only shows its interpritation of backlinks (i.e not all of them)Use Yahoo for a true reflaection of your count.Sorry to post again.... but MSN seems to do beter at showing what back links I axualy have..they are about the same. Msn updates changes pretty fast too thats annoying, y cant google update more often? surely it would lead to more accurate search results for its usersemail google and ask then. MSN & Yahoo don't always pick up the same backlinks that Google does, or necessarily weigh them as heavily. The fact that MSN & Yahoo don't (yet?) protect webmasters in this way does not invalidate Google's efforts.
