Firstly, let me just say that if the mod/script is posted here, i wouldn't know as i don't know what the mod/script name is..

Basically, i have hide hack in my forum. But, i have a thing about leeching. So some users just sign up and reply to every section in 1 day to get download links..

So..... What i need is something like this.

1. Users will have X amount of points upon registration. ( Example; 50 points )
2. Every thread a user reply ( to get the download link ), they will be charged ( example ) 5 points.
3. Every thread they start, they will be given ( example ) 10 points.
4. Once they run out of points, they cannot reply to any download section till they contribute and earn points.
5. Ability to choose which forum section to activate the point system.

So anybody know any mod/script that could do these?

Is this ( http://www.vbteam.info/vb-3-7-x-add...yb-advanced-permissions-based-post-count.html ) what you were talking about? If it is, this mod is based on post count. It's slightly different from what i was looking for.

Or you're talking about something else?


Edit : I used to be in a forum where instead of points system, the admin set the reputation point for it. So if a user post a new thread, they'll get 1 rep point. If somebody like the post, they can manually give rep point. And for every thread a user reply to, they will be charged 1 rep point. I asked him about the mod but he's not willing to reveal it. I still think point system is better than one that uses reputations.
