yes because it is backlinks... and yet, they have different IPs, so it will really get PR. cool. the next question would be how to get from 1 to 2 Just get juice (content) on the sites and they will easily get PR2 Good link diversity can lead to a very good PR. I'm not sure that it's a very time-efficient manner of moving to PR1 though! Quote: Originally Posted by maxine25 Good link diversity can lead to a very good PR. Neither a "trick" nor new.

PR is a measure of the probability, value 0 to 1, that a resource will be randomly requested. And, it is a measure of mutually exclusive events, such the total of the individual PR values of all must equal 1.

With roughly 2 billion resources indexed, the average PR value is 1/2,000,000,000 = 0.0000000005.

It is mathematically impossible that 100 interlinked sites can bootstrap their PRs to Tool Bar PR 1 without a substantial amount of PR gained from links external to said 100 sites.

The are only two factors in calculating PR :
The total number of resources in the matrix being evaluated; and,The mere presence or absence of links between each of the members of that matrix.

So can I take this to mean that you've never successfully performed this "trick" and you're just thinking out loud? Quote: Originally Posted by ~CReed ... thinking out loud?
