Hi,
Here is the story, I bought a site on DP from an auction. I won the auction cheaper than I think he wanted, because he kept extending the time... like he'd say the auction would close in 12hrs, then extend it an additional 5hrs like 10hrs after it was suppose to sale. I emailed him and told him that he couldn't / shouldn't extend the auction. He listed a closing date and time.
Anyhow, I won the auction and paid via PayPal and now it seems that he isn't communicating as well as I would like. I asked him about a week ago to push me the domain. I paid my registrar (mydomain dot com) $8.99 to take this domain. All he has to do is unlock the transfer and send the code. Last I heard, he said his company charges a $10 fee to unlock the code. And he says I have to pay this $10 fee....WTF is that????
Needless to say, I refused to pay this fee. I don't think I should have to pay for his registrar's "unlocking" fees, this wasn't disclosed in the sale, and I'm not the one who researched and hired his greedy registrar company.
So my question is, is he trying to milk me out of another $10 bucks or am I responsible for the unlocking fee (if there really is one?). I just don't think it's fair that he would ask me to pay this. I would think after the sale, it's his responsibility to 'unlock' the domain and get my company the code they need. I handled all the stuff on my end.
Thoughts?
