< Back from the dead...Huge things happening in Google today. I had about 5 new sites go from nowhere to the first page for every major keyword. Also, about 90% of sites had huge serp changes.Anyone else seeing this?definitely something up. Every keyword I was having success with looks as though to have completely disappeared from Google serps. Hoping that is just a temporary reshuffling.ANything negative I saw, I am thinking it is just the serps shuffling, but a few new sites of mine have made huge, huge jumps.I know googlebot was all over our site all day long I was quite supprised as it gave it a right mauling, havn't seen any serps changes as of yet tho other than the regular daily shifts. All my newer clients (3 months old) had huge jumps to the 1st page on all their major keywords. Most of my older sites had small jumps, which isn't unusual except it happened to all of them and for almost every keyword. But a few of my sites dropped totally out of it all...which I am hoping is just serp changes.Haven't seen this much action since the Florida Update, execept this was mosre positive than negative.Yes ... we are seeing the same thing. We are still trying to understand why some sites moved up???ahh so thats why there is a huge jump in orders this week. sounds good for me I had some sites crashing from top 5 to more than thousandths positions for keywords in google. Is it really cuz of the PR update vetofunk?hmmm my site moved up from #6 to #5 works for me. I don't know when the next PR update is but I'm expecting to go from a 5 to a 6 so I hope they hurry up At first, I thought it was because of the Pagerank update on January 1st, because it takes some time for Google to calculate everyone's new Pagerank and then set positioning accordingly. But...this is another huge update...called the Allegra Update. Looks like it may have the strength of the Florida Update from 2003. I am reading about many many people losing all their positioning in Google, which happened for a few sites of mine, but not many. If you lost positioning, like many did, I wouldn't worry about. I am sure that in time all your keywords will come back to the positioning they once were.Last week our referals from msn almost doubled... Yesterday I am seeing the same thing from Google... Couldn't believe it.... Change has been good for us this time!Great forum by the way...haven't been back in awhile...but will get back there. Thanks Veto - Sent a couple of people to your web site over the last few days as we are not taking on any more SEO clients until I can find and train some more staff. Not sure if they ever visited or contacted you but thought i'd drop you a good word with them Off-Subject -Well if you find anymore good SEO's looking for jobs in Chicago...send them too...as we need more people as well Thanks for the referrals Thanks for the update veto. I've seen some trending toward getting my rankings back. I'm using this tool to a degree:http://www.mcdar.net/q-check/datatool.aspToday when I checked my keywords were back where I expected, wheras yesterday they had fallen off the face of the earth. However, that tool used to show the results from all the data centers, but at the moment it's only showing for, and when I go to Google, it's not showing the rank listed in the four datacenters that I am seeing.Any thoughts on why?
