Htmlgenericcontrol(div) does not persist it's

hi all<BR>i am working on html editor ;<BR>i am passing a block of contents from a div to the database;<BR>but div is enable to retain the value;<BR>though i can set the valu of din in pre_render event but i am not able to access it's content to server side ;i can get it in javascript(clientside);<BR>need some help;<BR>thanks in advance
