HTML vexation in MS Outlook

Greetings,

I've created a standard HTML page in Macromedia Dreamweaver 4.0 on my WIN 2000 machine for the express purpose of using it as 'staionery' in Microsoft Outlook 2000. I want to send out a company-wide e-mail with new pictures and stats. Trouble is, Outlook won't display the images. The images are saved along with the Dreamweaver HTML to the C:\Program files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Staionery folder, so all images and html reside in the 'Stationery' folder on the C:\drive.

Can anyone tell me why the HTML table displays without the images? It worked before, but I cannot figure out what is not working.

Thanks
grfx303as long as the path to the image file is correct it should work, if the html file and the image files are in the same directory all you need to do is use the image name in the img tag to display the image:
The stumper is: I can see the DMW page just fine in the 'preview in browser' mode, all is well and looks good.
I save the DMW html to the C:\ drive as as I stated before.

I can even see the page in the MS Outlook preview pane while selecting a staionery choice. Then when the stationery is selected, all the image tables show a broken image link, even when the image files reside in the same folder as the stationery. Really puzzling. I've made other stationery in DMW with no problems, now all of a sudden, nada.I don't know, all I can suggest is you read the Outlook help files for "stationary":

Create stationery
This procedure is only available if you use HTML as your message format. For information about selecting a message format, click .

On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab.

In the Send in this message format box, click HTML.

Click Stationery Picker, and then click New.

In the Enter a name for your new Stationery box, enter a name.

Under Choose how to create your Stationery, select whether to start from scratch or use an existing stationery.
To select a file to base your stationery on, type the path and file name in the Use this file as a template box or click Browse to select from a list.

Click Next.

Select the options you want to use.
