Html Link to add specific name or letters to a text box on another page

I honestly searched high low but it must be the way im explaining or searching that comes with no results.I have a page with a search query, with a text box, like a search page.What I wanted to do is, create a QR code link with a search ID and when scanned it will automatically fill or execute the search with the id.Here is an example of what i mean: if you goto: http://www.walmart.ca/canada-estore...&skuTypeParam=Normal&catgId=&_requestid=36224you can see the search is Toys,if we change "/searchcontainer.jsp?searchString=Toys&" to "/searchcontainer.jsp?searchString=XBOX&"it will search the Xbox,How can i apply this same method to a QR code to add "xbox" to the search textbox element??Thanks.. please help :S
