This is most embarrassing. I once Download ed an application which would examine html coding and highlight any errors/ omissions. I either lost it or just cannot remember its name. Any suggestions as to what name I should look for? There's quite a few of them, have u searched the bigger Download sites? If w3c valid code is ur thing have a look at A Real Validator (http://arealvalidator.com/) by Liam Quinn, he of great fame. But why don't u just use the online versions? w3c html validator: http://validator.w3.org/ wdg html validator: http://www.htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/HTMLTidy? it's not available for Windows as far as i know. you could always just use the validation service at www.w3.org instead. (look to the left for the "HTML Validator" link)The greatest validator program you will ever find is called CSE HTML Validator and you can Download it at http://www.htmlvalidator.comTidy was the one I was thinking about. But I took a look at the other ones offered here. I thought my web page looked pretty good. Nobody complained it didn't work. But the web testers found a problem in almost every line! Back to school for me.
www.donmorse.comI use: http://validator.w3.org/detailed.html for checking HTML.

For CSS I use: http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator-uri.htmlOriginally posted by transmothra
