how to upgrade an nulled vbulletin

How do I upgrade my nulled vbulletin. Do I get the releace that don't require a keygen or what? I have the consumer number from the last time i installed the vbulletin and I ran the keygen. Sorry if this is a noob question but this is all new to me lol thanks.
 
You have to do everything as if you were installing for the first time:
- Upload files to server and overwrite old ones
- Chmodd all folders and files to 777
- Run keygen.php
- Copy licence details and delete keygen.php
- Chmodd files and folders back
*folders: 755
*files: 644
- Copy database details to new config.php file

then instead of running install/install.php run install/upgrade.php instead

dont forget to delete install/install.php before running install/upgrade.php ;)
 
OK...here's another retarted question. How do I make a backup where if I mess up, all I have to do is change the name of the backup and the forum will be fixed againl;
 
OK I got this all out of the rode. Now I'm adding in a new skin and taking out the gay satellite one. I upload the images, then import the xml. I goto the index page on my forum, and no images are showing up. This happens with all of the skins I upload too. What am I doing wrong.
 
Make sure the images are in the correct folder on your server, not all styles go in the images folder

Goto: admincp>>Styles & Templates>>Style manager>>your style

Scroll down to the "Image Paths" section to double check them to see where they should be...;)

I dont have the paths option. I have a screanshot I'll attachit. I took out my forum link for you guys as well:D
 
The path to your style should be like this
http://www.yoursite.com/iSkin_Black ;)
Remove the screenshot because i got your url though. I see also that the other skins are okay. good luck
 
sorry about that. I didn't look in the my footer:(

But I looked at all the file paths and they all seem ok. Can one of you 2 take a look as I'm probably over looking it.
