How to setup my forum from one server to another

i dont know how to save or upload database . i uploaded my forum in a host . But suddenly it demolished . Now i want to know is

* is it possible to get the database and upload the forum in another server ?

* how to save the database in vbulletin

* How to upload the database in new server or new vbulletin

* if i upload the datbase will the members and post are delete??

* please tell me the way of how to do that kinda things i need really help if some one help me i will eva great full to u

(1) Yes
(2) In the Admin Panel, on the left scroll, go down to the bottom under "Maintenince" and choose "Database Backup". It will export your database into a .sql file on your server.
(3) On the new server you create a new database with the same name/user/password etc. and import the data in the .sql file with PHPMyAdmin
(4) If you do the above, your posts and memebers should still be there


Something might be wrong of what i've said, but i'm pretty sure i'm right.
 
nooo bad idea..

dont do it from vBulletin

do it from your cPanel

cPanel >>>> Backups >>>> Download Or Generate A Full Backup

its the same thing, when u choose all the fields i dont think anything is missing from the vb backup
