how to set postcount requirement for DownloadsII ?

I use the DownloadsII addon on my forum, but I don't like having members sign up just to leech. Is there a way that I can specify an amount of posts that my members need in order to download? Be it a mod or code change, any help is appreciated.
 
well i did somenthing like this:

first i chaged the name of the registered users to leechers and change their permissions then i make a new group named members, when you're in the leechers group you can't download more than once a day, but if you make 10 posts you're automatically moved to members and you can download 10 files per day, is my solution for now hope it help you cya
 
I actually tried something like ths after posting, but forgot it took an hour to update via scheduled tasks. lol.
