How to reparse / rebuild posts in vBulletin 3.8.2

Reparse is like, say you had some youtube bbcode.
the width was 500 and height 420

You change the bbcode because you installed a new theme and it doesn't fit in the new theme.

So you make the bbcode into 320x240.

Now instead of going back into each post and editing , saving, reparsing does everything for you
 
I knew Hoxxy would look at this topic :P

Hoxxy probably made some custom module for vB to have emails sent everytime a specific user makes a post (lol).

Okay, well I use AME (Auto Media Embedder).
When you just post a youtube link like
YouTube - Movies In Minutes - X-Men Origins: Wolverine

It automatically embeds that youtube video ^

At first I had it at like 540x430 but now I made it into 580x430 for widescreen (Not exact measurement, just making it up as I'm giving example).

However I want to reparse all posts so that it will make all posts made with 540x430 be changed to 580x430.

Hmmm..I have never used AME but a client of mine does...

*takes a quick look....

ok so I'm guessing you have edited:
Admincp >> AME CP >> settings

All* Zone Settings
  • Default width
  • Default height

so now you should (in theory) just need to reset counters...
Admincp >>maintenance >> Update Counters

  • Rebuild Thread Information
  • Rebuild Post Cache
