How to remove DGT Ads?

I have installed--vBulletin.v3.7.0.Beta.6.incl.KeyGen.PHP.NULL-DGT

My problem is, I'm getting pre installed ads on my forum[all pages] footer as well as 2 more Ads, on Admin CP footers, 1 on controls side (from where you choose Vb Options page) and 1 on other side (where you edit options)]

I hope you'll understand what I am trying to say. Can anyone help me with this?
 
i got no idea what you are talking about.
DGT releases normally come without any Ads whatsoever, maybe a screenshot would help.
 
If you have ads in a DGT release, that means you didn't download it from grinderz, and someone repackaged it with adverts and god knows what else.

Rule of thumb - Only install a script when it is posted by that team. Only way to ensure you're getting a clean copy. Failing that, when it's posted by someone that is trusted. And not x-mobile! ;)

1 thing is sure, that I've not downloaded it from grinderz, so now I know that, as quickening said "someone repackaged it with adverts".
Question--->I know that vbteam is a trustred source but What about the products available on vbteam, that members upload? Are they clean?

I am using an ads free hosting service so its not coming from the hoster.

Question--->I think that I'll change to another version, but which one is the best version of vB?

If you hadnt been so redundant as to PM me and ask here I would tell you, but quite frankly if you dunno how to figure out what the latest version of vb is then you shouldnt bother running vb.
 
@ Xplorer4x4: Give the newbie a break....we all gotta start somewhere!

@ aulakhz: You definatly got a repack there no known null groups add ads!

For a basic general forum go for a 3.6.x version (3.6.10 PL 2 is the latest nulled)
For a more community orientated forum you want to go for 3.7.2 as it has loads more stuff to play with like the changable profiles personal albums groups etc etc.
Which ever you choose use a trusted Null group release like GYSN, DGT or even MAFiASCRIPTS, I personally wouldn't trust anything else!

as to weather members uploads can be trusted thats upto you, If you see something you want but are unsure why not check their stats how long they have been with us, see how many times they have been thanked, this should give you an indication but in general most of our members can be trusted and are eally only here for 2 things:

- To get what they want/need
- To help others get what they want/need

weather that be a mod/hack or just some simple advice like yourself,

All in all are a very friendly forum (apart from Xplorer4x4...joke...;)) and we always do our best to help each other out! as thats what its all about ;)
