How to promote and demote user?

hi

i need some help setting up promotion for user groups.


i cant figure out what will be the best option.

i previously had IPB now i moved to vb 3.7.2.

i hav half of the users in registered usergroup and inactive usergroup

i wanna set it so that if any user who doesnt hav any posts and has been registered for more then 15 days shub be lowered to inactive usersgroup

and 1 more thing i want is that if user doesnt post fequently and jus browse forums and other parts of the site his or her account shud be lowered to inactive usergroup.

is there some setting that i cud put a check on for post per day. so that i cud make sure users post frequnelty.

any help wud be helpfull

There are 2 ways of trying.

1st Product called - vBPromotions (vBExperience Required)
2nd Product called - Cyb - Advanced Permissions Based on Post Count

Try those 2, maybe they will help.
I am using Cyb - Advanced Permissions, and they seem aight, altho i also have vBExperience installed, but havent tried vBPromotions, but i heard Cyb - Advanced Permissions are better. I hope i helped, you always could try on a localhost board (IF you running one), cuz thats where i test my things, before i install them on a live forum..

but that doesnt do what i want.

i want to set it up so that users hav to post atleast X amount of thread in X days other wise their usergroup shud be changed to inactive user group.

and if user has posted within the last X days move the user group to Registered user group.

Usergroups > Promotions >> Add New Promotion. << this wont allow me to check if user has posted in X days

is their any hack that can do this for me?
