How to post a video in posts?

If I found a video on the web and wanted to share it with other users, how can I post the video on the forum?

When I tried to post the direct "object" link it just shows the code/link and not the actual video in the post.

you can enable the html. but that weakens your forums.
if your videos are by youtube

I went to usergroups to enable the html and its still not working. (I just copy and paste the code)

Is it something that I have to add (like bbcode or something)

if it for youtube. or from what video site. are you getting the videos from to paste?

No not youtube, I see tons of post about embedding it for youtube. I am talking about if I go to a random site and see a video or if a member come across a video they would like to share that is not from youtube.....how can they post the video on the forums so others can see (not the link but the actual video in the post)?

I know other forums I have been on u just take the embedded object code and post it and there it is on the forum, but its different for vbulletin it seems.

I hope someone can help.
