how to open a sample app residing in the webserver

HI,<BR>I'd like to open the samples(one application) which are installed in the<BR>inetpub/aspsamples folder using visual studio.net.<BR>For example I'd like to open the portal sample which has all the files<BR>except the .sln file. How to open it in a local folder and synch it with the<BR>web server.<BR>I tried it using an empty project and adding those files but if i do that i want able to update the server.<BR>Any help is appreciated.<BR>Thanks,<BR>-dharma
