Is there an environment variable or some other code that will obtain a users internal IP if they are using a router?
I know how to obtain a visitors external IP using getenv() but cannot figure out how to get an internal ip (if one is available)
Can anyone help?
Thanksno - because that IP is not globally unique, and so getting it is useless.and what makes you think you can get past there firewall in the router? and why would you want it anyway? besides, you can get an internal IP, these 192.168.xxx.xxx are internal ONLY, you cannot access them from the outside.}
