How to make threads show in two colums layout ?

OK guys I managed to make phpbb3 forum threads to show in two colums layout but I would like really to do the same with VBulletin because I want to switch software to VBulletin .

I added to attachment a sample picture of one VBulletin forum with same layout so you know what I'm thinking of .
