I'm searching for sites in my field which are indexed fast by Google. Do you know how to recognise those sites? type the domain into a google search eg. yourdomain.com. If it has been indexed it should be the #1 result. Quote: Originally Posted by Seven3 type the domain into a google search eg. yourdomain.com. If it has been indexed it should be the #1 result. I do not think that there is a search method to determine the speed that a site has been indexed as a data base... I thought he wanted to know how to check if his sites had been indexed. Guess there was a translation error or something. My site was on the front page for search query "mydomain.com" within a day of going live. Quote: Originally Posted by HTMLBasicTutor Why are you trying to figure this out? So I think it's better to get backlinks from sites that are indexed fast ( I think normally those sites have high traffic or updated frequently) Look for blogs in your niche in google and ask to write a guest blog post on it. Blogs posts usually get indexed fast. Getting backlinks from sites in your niche would also get you targeted traffic anyways.
When searching in google, be sure to select the "blogs" tab in the left hand column. Does it mean I offer some articles to put on their websites? Quote: Originally Posted by bangshws Can you please shortly explain what is a guest blog post? Like all blog owners, they usually write all there own blog posts but sometimes allow another person to write a guest blog post on there blog and is allowed to put a linkback to there own website. Of course the blog owner can set his own rules for what the guest blogger is allowed to do when inserting links into the blog post.
I have the perfect example of one blog that is basically a blog in which it's all guest bloggers meaning anyone can write a blog post on the blog but have to obey a few rules. Check out there guest blog page: http://www.famousbloggers.net/submit-your-article
myblogguest.com is another place to check out.
For futher info about guest blogging, post a reply in the thread i just linked you to. Quote: Originally Posted by snakeair If you have time we have a thread with guest blogging info to read: http://www.v7n.com/forums/blogging-f...ml#post1347717

How is that going to show how quickly the competitor's site is indexed? Google use to show a note up to a few hours of when the page was indexed but they seem to have eliminated that. There is no software or other steps to check how your site is indexed. Just go to Google.com and then have to manually check ...if you can achieve ranks first page of your site's keywords or if you see the name of the site on the first page of Google indexed ..
