How to fixed-width message area (not the posting box) *picture inside

How to fixed-width this text area?
i've problem with user that post long comment and break the table of the page.

i can't find where to edit this

Style Manager > StyleVars > Sizes and Dimensions > Message Area Width (pixels)
edit this , it just fixed posting box but not the message area
