[how to] Find Password in Database

If we got a database and know the username of the person wanna find the password so how to find the password?? can i find it in md5 or this format " usernameassword" ?? any guesses ?

vBulletin uses an MD5 + seed to generate passwords that are stored in the database. Even if you found it in the user table, it would not help you because you have no way to decode it and can not use it as stored.

U can put ur md5 file to hash in milw0rm.com . But it takes ages till it's finished.

md5 file don't you think there are online md5 converter.. but i think its an phpbb database? every users passwords start with "$H$" sorry if you think I'm wrong that i asked the Phpbb Question here actually i find this forum user friendly .. it helps me alot! but i think there is same thing in the db of phpbb and vb in "password" thingy..

The pw stored in vbulletin uses a totally different algorithm on the second seed than does phpBB
