I am doing some keyword optimization for my site. When I type a keyword or keyphrase I get millions of results in google. My site is indexed by google. My question is how can I find if I am listed somewhere in the results?Or how can I know my position in the Search results?Any simple way in google search other than clicking all the shown pages and checking if i am listed? You could use thisThis tool gives this errorQuery failed.,everytime i tried.now try thishttp://www.mikes-marketing-tools.com/ranking-reports/thanks dhaval and meman. The link by dhaval was a good tool. But they report just your rank within 50 only. I found another, http://www.selfseo.com/serp_check.phpThis looks neat and also they provide within first 100. My rank is somewhere there in millions place. I wanted someway in google itself to find my position. for example ; After getting the search results you can search within the results for any term. Some thing like that to find your rank. I have done some SEO in my site. Can anyone suggest how the first page is optmized checking the site?SnailDev wrote:That is a good idea since there is no other way round it. Glad to say that after some keyword optimization, I am in the 5th for a specific keyword only. For many so competitive keywords i am no where, but for some other i am in 100-400 range. For a one month old site with a pr 0 , Isn't that good enough guys. Feeling about keyword thing. http://google-yahoo.com/i also use http://www.checkrankings.comHas anyone tried Free Monitor for Google?Any drawbacks to it that you can think of?I was following that server above and just saw something strange. the data served by http://64.233.179.99/ just changed and i no longer see the results i did when i first read this post. this leads me to believe that each individual server from google does not have a complete index and that each little server pulls there data from another computer with the index. this is the only way this could happen seeing how the data changed so radically. what are your thoughts.???Your right, from what i know is that the servers can display results differently from each other and that this could indicate serp changes. And that they obtain info from different servers or sources to make up the index. My guess is that the multiple datacenters retrieve info from various sources devided and assigned to singular datacenters and from that point an estimation of averages would be made to make up the new index.Maybe i don't make sense but hey it makes sense to me at this point Here is one I like to use. http://www.announce.com/I don't use the submit part, just the SE results.
