I'm getting there in terms of SEO, on the first page for 10 good searches but want to make that more.
I was just wandering how to do header SEO as I'm unsure how to do this. At the moment I have a header for all my pages, but none of these headers are keywords on google, that can't be right can it? Am I going wrong somewhere?

LIYD google admitted the don't use meta keywords, read matt cutts latest blogs. They only use meta title and a little bit of meta description. The reason you are ranking for the other terms is due to anchor text in inbound links. Keep working on those and don't waste too much time on headers. Sorry to sound dumb, but anchor text in inbound links? Can you please explain this a little.

Ah yes I know it from link text. So I should work on this within my website? Link text to other pages within my website. Do a keyword research using the Google AdWords Keyword Tool. Find the right keywords for each page of your site. Choose the right title tag for each page. This is a very important SEO technique. No matter how well your content is written, without the right title tags, it is very difficult to optimize your pages.
Try avoiding stuffing all your target keywords on one page. That won't work because the more keywords you have in each title tag, the less weight each keyword carries. It takes experience to choose the right keywords and the right number of keywords. Practice makes it right.
