how to disable quote on the first post?

why? you are afraid of leechers?? lol.. I dont there is any such mods.. try searching at vb.org if there is any post the link here..

Chakru: here are some reasons mate:

  • Leechers...as you said..., hidden links and embedded links are harder to find their origin or copy, paste, or standard leeching....but thats not only it
  • There are many bbcode hacks that are not parced when quoting, which leaves normal threads like hidden download links viewed by public if your using old hacks that don't prevent this and other unwanted material making the post look un-professional...
  • Or someone is laisy (like I was at first) and just wants to use html for administration only and make life easier and make the thread look more dynamic and can't create certain bbcodes...
  • Or the fact that alot of members just press quote insted of reply and its frustratin when its a long thread and all you wanna see is what the poster types, and most of the times its "thanks" or "nice post"....this makes mods kinda waiste there time in checking for spam and unwanted posts...
  • Some users post lniks from there server which are parced using bbcode to prevent copying it, quoting the thread gives people the ability and makes it easier for them to copy and paste those links in other forums hence making your bandwidth bieng effected by it

Enough reasons Chakru??, cause I can go all day.... LOL...thanks for searching in vb.org though...searching in vb.org for a hack is like searching for a needle in a hay stack sometimes.....especially when the search contains really populer words

I use "search for title" over there to narrow down the links
but anyway....this hack is posted here so their you go
