This should be easy for somebody. I'm using CSS & Dreamweaver, in case it matters. Have created a form with a couple of textarea fields & a textfield. All 3 have some default text instructions inside them to prompt the user. What I would like is for that text to disappear when the user clicks or tabs into the field.<br />

I'm guessing I need some JavaScript, but not being a programmer, I don't know for sure. Any suggestions?<br />

Thanks for responding, but exactly how to I use your code? I tried adding it to my <textarea> tag, but I get a Runtime debug error when the page loads. What else do I need to do?<br />
