Yes it is a white hat technique. It is actually a type of distribution of your content. You provide your content to a link wheel service provider and he place your content in well known sites and then he place that URL is any other site and so on...hence the wheel follows.....You can get more information on Webmaster forum > Market Place > Service Quote: Originally Posted by nightcrawler Hello,

The Link Wheel is basically more like what is known as "Synergy". You are basically leveraging the authority of web 2.0 sites and linking them in a way that creates a larger effect than they would perform individually. This is not "gaming" the SE's.

But, whether it is a white hat technique, still arguable! Just keep on link building methods. A linkwheel is an unproven concept. Some swear by them others say they are a waste of time.

My take is that they take a long time to create, and if Google was upset by it, then by linking to the next site in the chain, you are feeding yourself to the lion! yes, its white hat but it taks a lot of time to built Quote: Originally Posted by jonswilliam Link building is vital part in site promotion . * Yahoo Answering these SEO factors will increase your traffic hi ~ thank you for share these, i know it works~hehe You should definitely make your own wheel - don't copy someone else's you see out there. Are there any difference between link wheel and link building? Last week I made a link wheel for my website. I used Squidoo, Blogger, Yola... six diferent web 2.0 sites. I spent few hours to make it, so it is not too hard. Only problem is - I am not sure how useful link wheels are. Websites I used are very popular, but no one backlink scanner I use did not yet noticed these links. I guess I have to wait more than a week.

However I am very interesting in this technique and want to explore it more. If you have experience with link wheels it will be great if you share it with us. Its like sharing link juices from your index page and distributed it to other page of your site at the same time. Getting benefits to have traffics for your other pages and so on. I created profiles at blogger, squidoo, yola, blogsome... etc At this moment no one of them looks useful. i have trying hard to work on this link wheel i lifted from net.

I agree, it is an unprovn concept, I saw some link wheels (or web hubs or web rings) and I saw some of them work, while others didn't, I never saw one that would rank highly without many outside links.

Thanks,
Sunlust I really wouldn't waste my time. Like others have said, it's an unproven tatic.. I think it certainly can work as part of a broader scheme to increase incoming links to your site. seo is this wheel in a general concept. I wouldnt waste too much time trying to figure out that wheel. cause you could be using your time to be spreading more links haha Linkwheel is not a kind of blackhat but for me i dont like it at all because i have tried doing it some time ago and after all the hardwork it produced close to no result. I prefer joining reciprocal link exchange sites to it.
