How to create 504 page.
I have deleted some pages from my site. now when search in google still link is there and when i click on that can not display page open.
so i want to forward on home page.
plz reply who know how to do that. don't post anything.

sorry it is 404 error.....
it is static html site..
for example : mywebsitename/page.html

Do not do a redirect using javascript or a meta tag, it could cause the pages to be deindexed. You should not forward to the home page.
You should create a custom 404 page that says sorry and helps the visitor find what they might have been looking for.
Most importantly, your page should return a 404 Status code to tell search engines not to send people there any more.
If your deleted page does have a valid alternate page, then you can return a 301 status code (permanent redirect) and the URL that is now representing the page. Never do this for all invalid pages as then search engines cannot detect what pages exist or not. Only do it from a known old page to a known new page.
How you perform this depends on your system. Do you use a CMS? What type of server do you have?
