Is there a way of stopping search engines from spidering a page (or a particular word). I have a portfolio page which uses a name of a web page that I developed. I want to submit my personal web page (with portfolio) to search engines but I don't want my portfolio page coming up as a hit when some searches for the name of the web page. <br />

Is this making any sense.<br />

For example, suppose I develop a web page called QuantumBaconGlue. I submit this to Google to get indexed. My own web page portfolio naturally has the word QuantumBaconGlue in it and as such it would be picked up when ever someone types in QuantumBaconGlue into Google. This I don't want.<br />

Still making little sense I guess, but is there something I can put into the meta tags to keep the spider bots away?<br />
