How to add a patient to the worklist in the Synapse Software?

I need to work with the Synapse which is a HealthCare software used for imaging and worklists, i need to be able to add an XML somewhere so that this Synapse reads it and adds a patient to the worklist based on whatever the XML contains. anyone has any information or documentation about it?
