How to add a 3.8.0 skin?

Ok, Hey guys, Well im not stupid here or nothing, I can add 3.7 skins, but when it comes to 3.8 skins none of the images work that i upload?

Can anyone tell me the best way to upload a 3.8.0 skin. Thanks guys!
 
Im currently using 3.8.0 I download the EliteX360 for my xbox forum that is new. And i tried adding it, but all the images didn't come up? Don't know why The skin i downloaded has no actual instructions inside it?
 
Try to update counters if you havent done that yet...

if it still doesnt work maybe the pictures should be in another folder...
where the pictures dont show up it should show like an X am i right?
if it does right click with your mouse and go to properties and there it should have something that shows the extention to that picture/ image....

for example
www.yoursite.com/forum/xbox-skin/image12.gig

if you can find that, then try that if it still dont work then sorry i dont know.
 
Stupid question but are you uploading to the correct folder?

Are the images appearing as a white box with red cross in it? if so right click on the image and find the path where it is looking for them and then upload your images to that folder. Its worked for me in the past.
 
Yes, well, i do the same as i do on 3.7 skins, and go into the images folder then create a new folder 'styles' thats where i add my skins images folders, And the images don't come up as images just as normal text?
 
not all styles go in the "images" folder nor do thay go in a created folder unless stated in the read me file, I suggest you so as ozzie2009 said open in IE right click on one of the red crosses and see where they are suppost to go then move them to the correct folder.

Quick edit:
the "elitex360" folder needs to go in you root directory

IE:
yoursite.com/elitex360
yoursite.com/forum/elitex360
 
It dosen't tell me what folder the images should be put into it!
