V ver_shine New Member Feb 16, 2009 #4 just upload 3.8.1 files to your forum (make you sure you didnt do any file edit) end run /install/upgrade.php and when upgrade finished you can check your products,languages,phrases etc.. done !

A aying New Member Feb 16, 2009 #5 very simple, backup first and upload all files except for this file "install.php" found on includes folder, after uploading just hit on upgrade.php instead of install.php because we are basically upgrading. Just as ver_shine stated to his post.
