Hi, I have a tool called RRS Submit that submits my feeds from my wordpress sites to lots of sites like technorati and such. How often do you think I should let it submit? I update my wordpress sites with new content everyday. I use RSS Submit a few times per week - after updates. Send update pings when you update, that's it.
Wordpress blogs ping pingomatic by default with every new post.
Pingomatic forwards the ping to ten or twelve places.
That should do it. Wordpress has automatic pinging service so I don't think we need to submit feeds again. Ahhh I forgot about wordpress pinging your blogs anyway. Maybe I'll just use RRS Submit every now and again. Quote: Originally Posted by AL Jones

I submit my feeds atleast once a month.But I think it is a waste of time since I haven't had any luck with them.Still I submit my site hoping for the best. Most of the RSS hosting sites automatically query for the latest information in a specific interval of time. Once submitted you never need to submit a feed again on the already submitted sites. When you update you can use software to ping the RSS directories.
