I have been working on my site almost solidly for 3 months now!
Whether it is implementing new design aspects to improve functionality or better optimizing for SEO and link building!
What I want to know is how long does it take for to reach google page 1! I am on page 1 for yahoo and bing and have been for 2 months but page 10 for google! I've been working so freaking hard I want to see better results!
In your experiences, how long does it take from launch to PR1 and onwards. I know this can vary for a whole number of issues but I want to hear about your experiences!
Cheers ;-) Hi,
1. It usually need more times to rank on Google since it is more competitive on Google. Also, it would depend on your targeted keywords.
2. In my own experiences, it is easy to have a PR of 2 via building dofollowed backlinks from higher PR sources. Of course, backlinks with correct keywords as anchor text from niche relative authority sources would help both in SERP and PR.

all the best, Hey mate, thanks for your reply! It's harder to get links from higher PR sources though or for them to especially link from their pr rated pages pages! For example a pr3 site might link to your site on their pr0 link page relevant to your site but that would only still only count as a link from a pr0 source woulndn't it?
