I recently began updating my website http://www.tritonhealth.com to a new page format. My original pages were about 30kbs a page now my new pages are a little over 100kbs per page. How much will this affect my rankings. I have seen them slip alittle and I know that it is not because the sites that are passing me have higher quality links or are more relevant for the words I am optimized for. ersonaly I feel 100kbs per page is a little excessive......according to this page loading time checker [ http://www.1-hit.com/all-in-one/php/too ... health.com ] your page takes 49 seconds to load on a 56k modem.i don't know how accurate this is but maybe you should keep in mind that most people will only around 10 seconds then they are off to the next website.Coming from somebody who is still using a 56k modem (I know!! in this day and age) your page took a small bit longer to load than I would have liked. Maybe making the pages a bit smaller wouldn't be a bad idea if possible.
