I want to know how many pages of a site can be added in a single bookmarking site? I am submitting around 9 pages for each bookmarking directory. Is that fine or I have to change my strategy?
Is it good enough for long term or will it hurt my Site ? There are no limitations but perhaps you need to have a better idea towards the whole process of bookmarking because the practice is not to be approached like directory submission where webmasters are simply interested in seeing more of their web pages listed online. The informative materials are to get added to the highly visited social bookmarking portals and then depending on the votes people cast on their stats, they would be rewarded with improved traffic shares and web listings.
Everyday, hundreds or even thousands of stories are added to the sites but at the end of the day, a lot of them would be gone because they simply do not add anything useful to the boards or the whole net. It would be better to create an amazing piece of writing and then submit it to the portals, or maybe the readers of your contents will be doing it without your knowledge, which would reach the highly visited spots, getting praised by editors of the portals as well as all community readers. I do take care of the quality of content while submitting bookmarks. Just a few links I would say because too many links are just self promotion aren't they? Another tip for you, you can publish your RSS feed to a blog or a website which allows you to create pages and in this way, you will always be getting backlinks to your latest posts.
Your idea is already being utilised by some wordpress premium theme developers (putting random links or a link to their website in the footer) and it seems to work. There is no limitation.But you should not post huge amount of links to a single bookmarking site i.e over submission is not good.It will be better if you comment other people.
