I am running a website and I still have a PR of zero, my link statistics are as follows:MSN Popularity: 1,390 Sites are Linked to this SiteYahoo Popularity: 1,863 Sites are Linked to this SiteAltaVista Popularity: 1,840 Sites are Linked to this Sitebut I still have a google PR of zero, how long do I have to wait to get a higher PR or do I have to get more links? Am I doing something wrong?my site is: http://www.evenhosting.com/Its listed in googles index and they check it periodically. They update toolbar PR about every four months. no one knows exactly when the next will be, it should be within the next couple of months.ok thnx, hopefully I didnt put up my site right after they did there last update Do you know how my PR is calculate? Is it just a hold my breath and see what google decided or is there something I can do to make my PR reliably better?Much thanksPR is based entirely on the number of links you have pointing to your pages, and the PR of the pages linking to you.PR isn't anything to worry about though. PR is a minor contributing factor for SERPS, and toolbar PR is out of date information. Google have already calculated your PR and use it in thier ranking algo, But they only let us know about toolbar PR.what has a more major impact on my SERPS? What can I do to improve my SERPS?Write good content and get good one way links from trusted related sites. Our page rank was just bumped up.It happened within the last few days.http://www.lightingstyles.co.ukWell the PR update takes place nearly every 3 months so just wait for few more months and you might see the new PR.Akashyep it takes time for the pr to get updated ... mine took arround 1 month and a half to move from zero to 4 .. in the mean time concentrate on building more quality links to your website ...
